Eat A Doughnut To Help Alberta

by Carmen Cruz

Tim Hortons is doing its part to help out my beloved home province of Alberta and all those who have been affected by the flooding.

Starting THIS Friday (tomorrow), Timmy's will be selling the 'Alberta Rose' doughnut for a $1, with the money raised to going Red Cross flood relief efforts in southern Alberta.

((FYI: The wild rose is Alberta's provincial flower.))

The rose-shaped disaster doughnut is vanilla dipped, has a yellow Venetian cream center and is topped with red, white and pink strawberry bark.

Yum.

It's Pinterest For Men

by Carmen Cruz

It's called manteresting.com and it helps you to gather or share your 'manteresting' thoughts/ideas.
It's filled with pics of DIY projects, jokes, men's fashion tips, pretty ladies and of course, the holy grail: Bacon.
In a quirky take on pinterest, manterest uses "Nails" and "Bumps" for you to 'favourite' or 'like' something, rather than pinterests ususal pins or hearts.
**Insert manly grunt here**
Here's just a small sample of what you'll find on the site.

Oh! And if you're a cat lover, you're outta luck. On manteresting, it's all about man's best friend. No cute cat pics will be found anywhere on this site.
