Take Me Out To The Baaaaaall Gaaaaaame!!!!
On Friday, The Vancouver Canadians will kick off their new season, but tonight, local celebrities and people from the media will be stepping up to the plate - all to support research and awareness on the risks of heart disease.
I'll be brushing off my cleats (let's be honest here- my worn out runners) and competing in a six-inning softball extravaganza. Considering my "amazing" hand-eye coordination, hilarity should ensue.
So what can you expect tonight?
It's a night packed with fan favourites - Dancing groundskeepers, sushi races and concession stand goodies galore, PLUS fans will get a sneak peek into what’s new at the Nat.
Admission to tonight's game is $2.00 with 100% of the proceeds going towards the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation and its efforts to raise funds and awareness for the provincial Heart Centre at St. Paul’s Hospital.
